Hello and welcome to my site! I'm glad you're here. I am an artist based in Rochester, MN. When I'm not making art, I'm exploring nature with my family, searching backroads for old buildings, and helping kids learn to read.

I started my artistic journey taking photos of my kids. Then I expanded to interesting nature shots and abandoned buildings. My first business was called Go Outside Photography, and I still shoot almost exclusively outside. 

Other than photography, I produce original acrylic paintings, and needle felted wall art and 3D figurines.

I've also written one children's book. The power of words is humbling.  To bring joy, laughter or sorrow with a string of letters amazes me.  It makes me aware of my desire to put good words into the world.  I plan to write more children's books in the future.

You will notice I'm often at Gallery 24, a Rochester nonprofit art gallery. I am on the board of directors, and am immensely proud of the work we do there. In addition to amazing art, we offer classes, guest artist spots, monthly themed exhibitions, and more.
